Chinese New Year

This week was Chinese New Year and to celebrate we made dragon puppets in Room 7. We learnt how to say "Happy New Year" in Chinese - "Xin Nian Kuai Le!"

Water Safety

This week we had our first Water Safety lesson at Parnell Baths. We practised our swimming skills in small groups and even made a whirlpool!

Our next Water Safety lesson is on Tuesday 19th February. We will be leaving school at 1pm to start our lesson at 1.30pm ... We can't wait!

Football Fun

We were really excited to learn some new football skills from Football Kidz NZ coaches this week. We had great fun playing 'Shark Attack', and kicking the ball while pretending to be different kinds of animals.
