Melted Crayon Art

We had an exciting time creating a class work of art for the Big Night Out art auction. We used a hot glue gun to glue crayons onto a canvas then used a hairdryer to melt the crayons down the canvas. We made flowers out of fabric and jewels to finish this colourful wax garden. Our favourite part was watching the crayons drip down the canvas.

Te Ika a Maui

This term we will be learning about water as a part of our focus on "Treasuring our World". To begin our study we looked at the Maori story "The Fish of Maui".
