The Maritime Museum

Room 7 went to the Maritime Museum. We went on a sailing boat and we also got shown around the museum. We learnt lots of things about boats and how people came to New Zealand. Watch our PowerPoint story below to see what we did.

The Safe Place

We read "The Safe Place" by Sue Mooar. The hen needs a safe place to lay her eggs. We decided to make our own safe place for the hen using PowerPoint.

We made this book together. It is about a caterpillar that we saw outside Room 7 

Crazy Hair Day!

During our first week back at school we drew self portraits using crayons and dye. We are learning how to use a straw to blow coloured dye into different patterns and shapes. We found it hard to blow the dye at first, but after a few tries we got better and better.

We are all looking forward to an exciting year of learning new things and achieving our goals. Milla, Paige and Aarya would like to learn more Maths this year. Yogya and Jeff want to learn about space.
